Business Conservationist of the Year
Leaf & Limb was awarded the 57th annual Business Conservationist of the Year from North Carolina Wildlife Federation
We are so honored to announce that Leaf & Limb won the 57th annual Business Conservationist of the Year from North Carolina Wildlife Federation. This award is for an outstanding effort by any firm, business, or industry that has displayed an unwavering commitment to conservation or the public's ability to enjoy natural resources. This award is meaningful to us because it is a small validation that we are indeed doing some small part in helping heal local ecology.
NC Wildlife Federation issued the following statement in regard to this award: "Leaf & Limb broke the mold when they shifted focus from tree removal to tree preservation and habitat restoration through plantings, healing the soil, and maintaining existing trees for long-term success and wildlife. Leaf & Limb employees have served nearly 4,000 volunteer hours cleaning up and enhancing the local community through the company's Project Pando initiative, which has evolved into a volunteer-driven tree farm providing free trees to the public to improve local ecosystems."
At Leaf & Limb, we care for trees because we love this planet. In the coming years, we will continue our work and find new ways to increase our impact.
